I called for electrical wiring issues on a Saturday evening. They took my call and scheduled a visit for the following Monday morning.They arrived Monday morning as expected and despite the difficulty in diagnosing the intermitting power issue, they were able to reproduce and replaced some fuses they believed were causing the issue.They let me know that if the issue still occurred to reach out again and they would investigate some more, which is great for peace of mind.The price for service is quite fair and they were extremely responsive. Would use their services again, and would happily recommend them to others.

I do not typically take the time to post reviews unless the quality of the work is so exceptional that others should know of a great company that exists in our community.I initially had John Wehrly come out to give me a bid on replacing an older out-of-date service panel for my house. We discussed appropriate 'future proofing' panels to go with, and selected a great Eaton solar-ready panel that I personally wanted.At that time, I asked John to come into the house and check the wiring of a couple of wall receptacles because the house was built in 1957. He noticed that the wiring was very old and there was no grounding. Because my family lived in this house, I felt it was absolutely necessary to have the house rewired, not only to meet current-day safety code, but for the protection of my family. We considered Romex wire as it is has been considered a gold standard in wiring solutions, along with quality switches and dimmers. I felt confident that Wehrly Electric was good for the job, and I gave it to John.Once the permits for work were submitted and approved (which didn't take long at all) it took two days to install and test the new panel with existing wiring, and in two and a half weeks, they completed and tested the full rewire job of the house. I was there through most of the work, and it was refreshing to see how well everyone worked together as a team. A shout out to Brian, Josh and Trent for the great work they did. They informed me of the daily progress, and cleaned the house thoroughly before leaving each day. I was also there when the inspector came to bless the work, and he even told me 'this is a winner'. If there is anything more to add, I will say that after receiving several bids before making my selection, Wehrly Electric came in a little lower than a couple of other highly regarded companies. When the time should come for more electrical work, I can say I have found my company. Of course, I highly recommend Wehrly Electric.

My insurance contacted me and advised they would drop me unless I replaced my Zinsco breaker panel (original panel from the 70’s) due to it being a fire hazard. My neighbor referred me to Wehrly Electric who replaced his panel.I obtained two quotes, one of which being from John (owner of Wehrley Electric). I did attempt to contact other electrical companies who told me I needed to contact SDGE first. John was knowledgeable and offered a great quote for the job.He handled the paperwork with SDGE and city for inspection.John and his team installed the new panel in a day. He did a fantastic job and we were very happy with the work. He patched the stucco, labeled the new breakers and left the area clean when he was done. I called and asked if they could help me change breakers and help me with paperwork for a inspection. John had me send a picture of what the inspector needed and of the panel. He replied within 30 minutes and gave me a reasonable quote.I thought he would schedule me for later in the week. But he said he could be here in an hour. For perspective - I called another company prior to calling John. The gentleman who I spoke to wasn’t even an electrician and couldn’t even tell me how much it would cost to simply switch out a circuit breaker if it was blown. I was told that his tech would tell me upon arrival and after a $199 emergency fee. I ended up calling John immediately after and communicated that I needed the power back on as soon as possible this evening. I asked if I could Venmo him a tip, which he declined, and instead asked to leave a review. As someone who works in the trades, I cannot speak more highly of this entire interaction. I’ve never left a review anywhere before. That’s how genuinely impressed I am with his service. 10/10 would recommend.

He was reachable every time we had a question and he knew how to deal with our complicated situation.
